I did ballet class for 1 hour and a half each day, and then on weekends when I was in Bristol, I would do 2 hour classes. While all participants will be featured, the extent of one’s participation in the performance may be based, in part, on merit, in-class participation, and artistic decisions. Ballet classes are conducted in groups and organized by participants’ age and skill levels.
The Programs are operated by RAF, based on a ballet curriculum designed by the Academy and taught by its ballet teachers. BBASI NY provides expert training for serious ballet students (ages 15 - 22 years) through unique instruction by teachers from the Bolshoi Ballet Academy. NO individual supervision will be provided (excepting some cases requiring medical care).While New York City is one of the most exciting cities in the world, a working knowledge of city life will assist your participant in managing his/her experience in this great city. Withdrawal from the Program, 30 days or more prior to the beginning of the 6 week session, due to a severe injury or medical condition unrelated to a pre-existing condition and directly resulting in Participant’s inability to train, may be given special consideration on a case by case basis. All special consideration requests will be addressed in September following the completion of the Program. There are absolutely no refunds for dismissal from the Program or for voluntary withdrawal.
While some organized activities may be offered, participants will have ample free time to explore and enjoy New York independently.
While all participants will be featured, the extent of one’s participation in the performance may be based, in part, on merit, in-class participation, and artistic decisions. All students and staff are housed at the Loomis Chaffee dorms.The school’s facilities are managed and operated by its year-round staff. It is Participant's responsibility to submit to RAF, in September, written statement of the request, relevant medical documentation, and physician’s attestation that the injury or medical condition is not related to a previously existing condition. Program cannot ensure an allergen-free environment at any of its facilities.Participants attending BBASI NY are expected to be mature, focused, and able to function independently and responsibly at all times. BBASI NY studios are located on Manhattan’s beautiful Upper East Side. In preparation, and in addition to your own resources, a review of the following useful tips and suggestions is recommended:Group supervision to and from class/Yeshiva University ResidenceGroup supervision of official organized Program activitiesAttending to program rules while class-day is in sessionAttending to curfew /program rules in the Yeshiva University Residence*The first 3-week session culminates in an observation day.

The Bolshoi Ballet Academy Summer Intensive in Connecticut (BBASI CT) provides expert training for serious ballet students (ages 9-15) through unique instruction by leading teachers from the Bolshoi Ballet Academy.
Under the artistic direction of Mme. The Program’s overall environment is non-competitive and teamwork is emphasized. The schedule of the last week of each session may change in order to accommodate rehearsals. While some organized activities may be offered, the schedule outside of classes is open and unchaperoned, giving participants the ability to take full advantage of everything New York has to offer.
