With Canada Day only one day away, the CN Tower has something extra special planned for this year’s virtual celebration.On July 1, one of Toronto’s most iconic monuments will be celebrating the country’s 153rd birthday with an “extraordinary” light show.The light show will last for 15 minutes and will include powerful light canons for visibility from a distance.It will also feature lighting that will be synced to the beat of diverse Canadian artists, who will be simulcast on CHUM 104.5.The lighting show is planned to take the “Tower’s architectural LED lighting to the next level.”If you are a Toronto resident, you can view the show simply by looking up into the sky. Every night, to brighten Toronto’s streets, the CN Tower will be playing a light show. The CN Tower has begun offering nightly light shows in order to “brighten the mood” while Torontonians practice physical distancing.
