The iconic tower will be brightly lit, with different colors depending on the specific day. With Canada Day only one day away, the CN Tower has something extra special planned for this year’s virtual celebration.On July 1, one of Toronto’s most iconic monuments will be celebrating the country’s 153rd birthday with an “extraordinary” light show.The light show will last for 15 minutes and will include powerful light canons for visibility from a distance.It will also feature lighting that will be synced to the beat of diverse Canadian artists, who will be simulcast on CHUM 104.5.The lighting show is planned to take the “Tower’s architectural LED lighting to the next level.”If you are a Toronto resident, you can view the show simply by looking up into the sky. Every night, to brighten Toronto’s streets, the CN Tower will be playing a light show. Audiences will be able to stream morning, afternoon and evening shows.Downloadable interactive and all-age celebration kits will also be available.You can also nominate a frontline worker for recognition.The day will start off by sharing a holiday breakfast with guest chefs. The CN Tower has begun offering nightly light shows in order to “brighten the mood” while Torontonians practice physical distancing. Each night beginning at sunset the CN Tower will feature a standard lighting program in red and white, to honour Canada, with a short light show at the top of each hour. A light show is coming to the CN Tower this year for Canada Day.
