Since its founding in 1898, the Choir has been attracting thousands of national and international visitors every May to its annual Bethlehem Bach … The California Bach Society, a 30-voice chamber chorus under the direction of Paul Flight, performs Renaissance and Baroque music in San Francisco, Palo Alto, and Berkeley, often accompanied by an orchestra of period instruments (or Baroque orchestra). In 2015 we sang three concerts near Paris including a Sunday evening recital in Chartres Cathedral; In 2017 we visited Bratislava and in 2019 Dresden. The Calgary Bach Choir is funded by Calgary Arts Development, AFA, ALGC Casino revenues, membership dues, and private donations. The Bach Society of Dayton is supported by the generosity of philanthropists throughout the region.
